Whenever the Code Enforcement Officer or his or her designee finds that noxious weeds are present on any parcel of land and that the owner has not taken sufficient action to control the same, he shall notify the owner that a violation of this chapter exists by issuing a Notice of Violation and Order to Correct as provided in Chapter 1.20 giving the owner at least ten (10) days to correct the violation.
