Whenever the animal control authority comes into possession of a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog they shall destroy the same if the dog is not reclaimed by the owner within thirty (30) calendar days. Under no circumstances shall a dangerous dog be sold or given to another as a pet. (Ord. 2757, 3/24/15)
