A. Each pawnbroker or secondhand dealer will be required to also obtain a business license as set forth in Chapter 5.04.

B. The pawnbroker or secondhand dealer license required under this chapter shall expire on the thirty-first of December of each year and no reduction in fee for such licenses shall be made for any partial year. No license shall be transferable. All licenses will be renewed through the Finance Director with payment of the yearly license fee upon completion of a background check for all owners and employees pursuant to Chapter 5.02.
