Participation in Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System: The City of Moses Lake shall participate as an employee member in the Washington Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) for the eligible employees and officials of the city, PERS having absorbed the State-Wide City Employees’ Retirement (SWCER) (RCW 41.44) and the city having elected to join SWCER, and, therefore, binds itself to the provisions of RCW 41.40 as it is now written or in the future may be amended.
