The purposes of this chapter are to: (A) ensure that signs and sign structures are designed, installed, and maintained to prevent personal injury, and to avoid traffic and property hazards and public nuisances; (B) recognize that signs are necessary for public, private, business, community, and other purposes; and (C) impose limited controls on signs so that they are compatible with surrounding property uses and enhance the appearance of the Moses Lake community.
